For You

So here it is...
My husband has taken the children with him while he runs some errands....leaving me here alone so I can do my quick books work that he wants done by the time he gets home.....and here I am in my craft room making cards! I just can't help it!
Anyways, I'm just going to post this card really quickly and get to work! :O)
The details for this card are pretty much the same as the last except for the flowers which are primas.
I also used my nifty nesties.
I used the sketch from this weeks HH challenge # 9...but I didn't use HH stamps so I didn't enter it....
here is the sketch:

By the way, picking up pictures, dragging them and dropping them with my mac rocks!!!
This is so easy! No copying and pasting!
Thanks for looking.

Sweet Kisses

Here is another Magnolia card....kissing Edwin and Tilda. :O)
I really wish I had a good sentiment stamp to go with this "Sweet Kisses" or "First Kiss" or something clever but Hello was the best I could find!

Anyways, Here are today's card details:
Paper: CTMH-Magic Moments (ah ha that would be a good sentiment stamp for this card: "Magic Moments")
Colors: CTMH-Sweet Leaf/Indian Corn Blue/Hollyhock/Sunflower/Cocoa
Brads and Ribbon are CTMH
I colored in Tilda and Edwin with my copic markers.

Thanks for looking!

Here's the Scoop

I wanted to try something a bit different today. :O)
I decided to challenge myself by not using any patterned paper.
I am a self-professed patterned paper-holic! Which is not a bad thing but it's good to occasionally step out of your comfort zone right?
You can't really see the sentiment stamp but it's there on the right side of the image. It's a watermark, and it says "Here's the Scoop!"

Here are the details:
Stamps: MFT-Here's the Scoop
Colors: Hollyhock/Creme Bruele
Technique: Copic markers
Brads/Buttons/Ribbon: CTMH
I used a couple of my cuttlebug embossing folders-gotta love those!
I also used my martha stewart border punch. :O)

Also, I wanted to share with you...
my husband has been in Hong Kong for the past week and he found some copics for me...they are a bit cheaper around $5.00 cnd and no shipping. :O)
I'm so excited! He was able to get me 15 of the 18 colors I aksed for! Yippee! And he is due to arrive in Calgary this afternoon!

Celebrate for HH Challenge #7

I originally meant to use a Tilda stamp for this card, but she wouldn't fit into the rectangle I made using my nesties...and I really wanted to use my new rectangle nesties!
So I searched through my stash and found the little birds and cat.
The card appears so cute and sweet and happy, but is the scene a bit sinister.....
After all any cat would be celebrating if two chubby birds were flying over head. :O)

Okay enough chit chat, here are the details:
Technique: Copic and a CTMH marker or two
Paper: Chatterbox-Happy Garden
Stamps: Magnolia/CTMH-sentiment
Ribbon: CTMH
Waxy Flax on buttons: CTMH
Brads: bazzill
Buttons: My Mind's Eye
Flower: Making Memories
Star Dust stickles on the cat and bird's wings.
I also used my Martha Stewart border punch and rectangle nestibilities
Thanks for looking!

I know I should be using a High Hopes stamp for the challenge#7-"sparklemania"..I hope it's still okay!
I'll leave a link back to the High Hopes stamp site-they really have the cutest stamps out there! And they are a great canadian company! :O)
