My Very First Dottie's World Challenge

Okay here it is! My very first card for the Dottie's World Challenge...as one of the new Design Team members!!!
The challenge was "Coffee and Cream" and use stripes and or dots, and of course use a Dottie's World Digital image. :o)
I just LOVE how this card turned out!
Make sure you check out the Dottie's World Challenge blog to check out the other very talented designer's cards.

Here are the complete details:
Patterned Paper is Basic Grey:Urban Prairie and so are the buttons
The flourish is quickcutz
The sparkles and "U" chipboard are CTMH (I used my brayer and black stamp pad to color the chipboard)
I also used a few CTMH stamps:
*Coffee Shop
*Tiny Typewriter Alphabet
*Comments
I stamped the coffee steam onto vellum and then used my glue stick and prisma glitter to make it sparkle
I also used my Curvy Rectangle Nestibilites.

****Digital Images are so easy to use!****
I upload my Charmed Digital Images into photoshop elements and resize it, and then print it.You could use any editing software to resize the images.
I have a canon pixma printer and I use the same cardstock I use for my copics...wausau bright white that I get at walmart.  I never get bleeding or smudging.
I color my images in with my copics just as I do with stamped images.

Thanks for looking and have a GREAT Sunday!

Thinking of You

Hello, and happy Saturday!
I haven't been blogging very much lately...so I'm going to try and get around to everyone's blogs this weekend! I just love surfing everyone's bogs.....so much talent and inspiration out there!
I also haven't been able to post many cards lately; the weather is very beautiful here and so I've been outside with the kids more than downstairs in my craft room. :o)
But it's supposed to rain quite a few days next week....

Anyways, I picked up a couple sheets of this beautiful paper at my LSS the other day, it's by Crate Paper and it's called The Lillian Collection}mellow. I love the colors and of course the pattern-I'm such a flower girl! PLus all the sheets are double sided...I just love double sided paper!
I got the Tilda Spring image from Kelly...thank you babe!
The paper flowers are from my LSS-in the clearance bin...yeah!
I punched the smaller flowers with my EK success punch.
The corduroy brads and the smaller brads are CTMH.
The sentiment stamp is from CTMH called Fringed Phrases and I have to tell you I LOVE it! It has 11 sweet sentiments and 12 little fringed images to go with the sentiments....so spankin' cute and so versatile! LOVE it!
I colored in with copics of course.

Thanks for looking!
And I just want to tel everyone that my debut as one of the brand new Dottie's World Challenge designer's is on Sunday so  make sure you check back...I LOVE the first card I created for DW and am so excited to share it!

Bye for now!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #8

Hello!
Today I have my designer's card for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge #8.
The challenge is to make a card with more than one fold. I decided to do a simple double fold. Good thing I have my trusty scor-pal! :o)
The sponsor for todays challenge is the Sketching Stamper. I used one of her digital images for todays card. Isn't she cute? She reminds me of my teenage daughter...she's ALWAYS on the phone! lol
I used some old paper that was in my stash-it's all used up now-what a great feeling! It's from Making Memories.
I also used my CTMH Tiny Typewriter Alphabet and CTMH Dainty Thoughts set as well.
The cardstock is also CTMH-Heavenly Blue and I used Cocoa ink to stamp with.
I punched the tag with my CM tag punch and my Dahlia nestie for the flower.
The "I" is a CTMH chip board that I covered with patterned paper.
The rhinestones are CTMH, the button is Making Memories and the paper flower is from my LSS.

Thanks for looking and have a FAB wednesday day!

Another Mother's Day Gift

I know this is late posting.....I really wanted to get this posted yesterday but yesterday was kinda crazy. ;O)
We went for Mother's Day brunch which was very nice, the food was good and I was able to visit with my parents and my brother and sister inlaw whom I don't get to see very often.
The children also showered me with beautiful keepsakes that they handmade-Emily even grew me a flower which was so sweet...I just loved it so much!

And then all I wanted to do was retreat into my scraproom and work on some stamping and scrapping. I haven't been able to do that much lately...my DH has been working A LOT and has been traveling A LOT lately!
Anyways, he had to work on Mother's Day too...so I didn't get any scrap time yesterday....
boo hoo for me! :o)

Needless to say it took me several days to complete todays project....

Here are the details:
Stamps: Whipper Snapper
Paper:Heidi Grace Designs-Baby Girl
Cardstock: CTMH-Sweet Leaf
Sentiment Stamp: CTMH-Say It In Style
I used another Timeless Templates-Get A Handle On It to make the box-isn't it just so cute? I hope you are enjoying my boxes-because I will be posting a few more over the next couple of weeks....I need to make some for dance instructions/teachers/piano teacher and the soccer coach---oh wait that's me! lol
I made the tag with my cricut and colored in the images with my copics.

Thanks for looking and I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day

Sorry about the long time no post....man things have been hectic around here! I won't bore you with the details.....but my husband has been away for 10 days and let's just say I'm starting to become unglued....

Anyways, I love Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates....so I tried another one-this one is the Keep {sake}. I just love this box it's so fun and versatile!
I made this box for my Oma who is visiting this weekend for Mother's day.  I plan to buy some little chocolates to put in the box. :o)

The paper is Nana's Nursery; which I'm sure everyone can tell is my FAVORITE right now.
The ribbon is SU!
The flower images and the sentiment on the tag are CTMH-Simple Beauty
The tag is CM-I used an EK success border punch to trim it a bit

I made the frame for the window with my nesties-one rectangle inside of the scallop rectangle-I cut it at the same time...and was very impressed that it worked!
I used some overhead transparency "paper" for the window.

The button is My Mind's Eye

Thanks for looking-have a great day!
