Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #4-Tags

Hello and Happy Monday! Monday's are actually my favorite day of the week. It's a fresh start and a chance to get caught up.
I made todays card for Kraftin' Kimmie's 4th challenge. I love Kimmie's new stamp line. She's Canadian too which is so awesome! I wish her all the best with her new company!
Anyways, Kim wants us to make a card and include a tag...easy peasy!
I actually started this card last week for Kraftin Kimmie's 3rd challenge-use fall colors....but I
was not able to complete it in time so I added a tag to it so it worked for this week!
The adorable image can be found Here . This sweet deer is called Dorothy. :o) I colored her in with my copics...of course! I airbrushed the sky background...it's very subtle. I also used the "out of box" technique so Dorothy's party blower wouldn't get chopped off when I nestied her! :o) The cupcake image is from a stamp set that I can't remember the name of. I added doodlebug sugar coating and stickles to make it yummy!

I made the tag with one of my older sizzlits. The sentiment is also one of Kimmie's and can be found here. I stamped it in CTMH-Sorbet. And I distressed the tag with chocolate ink.
The ribbon is from walmart.
The paper is CTMH-Twitterpated. The felt leaves/chipboard buttons and copper brads are also Close To My Heart.

Thank you for stopping by today and having a fun, stamp filled day!

Friday Sketchers #73

I actually found some more time to stamp...well my house is really suffering but it's all worth it right?
I made tis card for this week's friday sketchers...I haven't completed one of those in a LOOOONG time!
Here is the sketch:
I recently purchased 250 6x6 envelopes so every card I make MUST be 6x6. :o) So I had to alter the sketch a tad.
Tilda is another image from my Fall Kit-isn't she just so sweet sitting there with her little necklace and high ponty tail?
Paper is BoBunny-Kitchen Spice...and so are the brads & brown sparkles
I made this flowers with my sizzix layered flower die.
The sentiment is Close To My Heart-Annotations
The bling is Prima
I also distressed everything with some CTMH Chocolate ink with my little dauber.
I added some distress stickles to Tilda's necklace and bracelet
Thank you for stopping by and have a fabby Saturday!

Thank Ewe-Sketch Saturday#53

So I finally "stole" some time this weekend to stamp, and was able to get several cards done. I scheduled a few cards to be posted since Saturday...yippee-I'm actually ahead! I was even able to participate in the Sketch Saturday this week. It seems like forever since the last time I did a Sketch Saturday or a Friday Sketchers challenge. Okay so I'll admit my house is a mess and I have several loads of laundry WAITING for me! lol ...but it was worth it!
Anyways, here is this weeks sketch #53:

What a fun sketch!
Here are the complete details for my card:
The patterned paper is Doodlebug designs.....don't they just make the CUTEST paper??
I also used some CTMH-Chocolate CS
The sentiment plate is from my LSS-I've had it for a couple of years now and have since lost the original packaging so I'm not sure of the company.
The stamp is High Hopes
The sentiment is CTMH
The paper flower is bazzill
Brads are also from my LSS

By the way, I was going to do the whole...."Thank Ewe" but I decided last minute not too....it's so predictable. :o)

Have an awesome MONday.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #6

I've been waiting for this challenge for several weeks now....this challenge is being sponsored by the Cutting Cafe...and we got these cool cupcake digi-images to play with for this challenge...aren't they scrumptious??
Below is the sketch for TS challenge #6.  The second part of the challenge is that your card must be scrumptious enough to eat!

Here are the complete details for todays card:
I printed the images off on my ink jet computer onto wausau cardstock from Walmart and then colored in with my copics. I never have trouble with bleeding-digi-images are just so fun and easy to use. I have a canon pixma ink jet printer.

The paper is DCWV-Nana's Nursery and I also used some CTMH Creme Breule and Sweet Leaf
The flourish is from my LSS and the single sparkles are CTMH
The brads are from my LSS
Ribbon is CTMH
I also used my curvy rectangle and circle nesties
Oh and I almost forgot-I also used my SU! scallop border punch

Thanks for looking and make sure you head on over to the TS blog to take our scrumptious challenge!

Celebrate Mom-Sketch Saturday #48

I made this card for this weeks Sketch Saturday #48.
Here is the sketch:

Everything is CTMH except for the image which is Magnolia.
I colored in Tilda with my copics, and used the new magna paper from canson-which is so much better for blending!
The paper is brand new from CTMH called Bella. The butterfly stamp is also CTMH-I stamped it in creme bruele and then cut it out, added some stickles and pop dotted it.
I also pop dotted Tilda and the 3D element flower that has the word mom stamped on it.
I used my nesties and my SU! scallop border punch.

And I have to tell you....I curled the butterfly's wings to add dimensional, which caused a shadow when I photographed it...I know it kinda looks like smudged ink or something-but it's not. :o)

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Happy Everything-Just Magnolia #1 Challenge

Two posts in one day....crAZy! We are having a lazy day here at home...my two youngest are just outside my craft door playing with our HUGE collection of fisher-price people. They are so cute, building a huge village. :o)

Anyways, I was going to keep this card and post it tomorrow but I wanted to get it in for the very first JUST MAGNOLIA challenge blog...wow did you check out the prize up for grabs?? It's huge!
Here is the sketch for this week's challenge...that ends tonight.

Just Magnolia Sketch 1

My bloggin' sista Kelly sent me several of the new Spring Magnolia images....I didn't get the kit this time around....yes I AM kicking myself!
But I'm saving up so I can order a few of the images..especially the running Tilda!!!
I received Kelly's package in the mail the other day and was so excited to start coloring!
I colored Tilda in with copics...of course.
The paper is Pine Cone Press papers
The sentiment stamp is from my LSS...I believe it is Daisy Bucket
The buttons are SU!
The flowers are Prima
Sparkles and brads are CTMH
The ribbon is from Michael's Craft Store

I also wanted to share with you how I made my rhinestone flourish.
I picked up the In Stitch'z by Bazzill flourishes template. It is intended for use with embroidery floss...
But I used a pencil instead of a piercing tool to make the marks. Then after I made all the marks I went back and stuck my rhinestones on top of the marks...voila! I have a rhinestone flourish.
The flourish template kit comes with four sheets of different flourishes. And they stay together with a ring.

Here is a close up of one of the templates...easy peasy and so very pretty. ;o)

OKay so thats it for today.
Have a great Thursday!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #5

The Truly Scrumptious #5 Challenge is sponsored my Whimsy Stamps and Hosted by the very talented Michele. Michele is also a design team member for Whimsy Stamps.
Michele created this "lots of layers" fabby sketch and she also wants us to make the card for a child. Here is her awesome sketch:

I used a Magnolia stamp for this card-Edwin wearing a tie..isn't he just so adorable?
I colored him in with my copics of course.
The paper/cardstock/brads/"make a wish" flexi-label/ and ribbon are Close To My Heart
I also stamped the sentiment with Close To My Hearts stamps, in CTMH ink-moon struck and topiary.

I almost forgot to tell you:
I also used my niftie nesties to make the rectangles where Edwin is sitting...and on the blue rectangle you can see some embossing. Well, I used my nestie circles to make those...I LOVE how it turned out! I'm going to see if I can get a you tube video tutorial done this week to show you how to do it. It's so easy and the results are fantastic!

Thanks for looking and make sure you head over to The Truly Scrumptious Challenge blog. :O)
BTW, I did change the title of my blog...I didn't realize I could....so I figured change is good.
So now I'm "Little Miss Raspberry Stamper" ....anyone who knows me knows I LOVE anything and everything Raspberry...so thats where the name came from.

Friends-Sketch Saturday #46

I made this card for Sketch Saturday #46.

It's an awesome sketch but I did have problems with the four little squares on the top right hand corner....;o)
Everything is Close To MY Heart except for the image-it's Whipper Snapper.
I colored in the image with my copics and I used some new paper; which Kim from Kimmie's Kraftin' Korner recommended.

The new paper is from Canson and it's Manga Drawing Paper. I did find that it bleed a tad bit...but that may have been because I didn't let my memento ink dry long enough before I started coloring....I WA REALLY excited! What can I say???
But besides that.....it really does work awesome for blending! Kim was right....you don't get those harsh lines that you do with other cardstock...the colors just literally blend together....and because the paper is a whoppin' 150 lbs.......the ink takes longer to dry; so you have more time to mess with shading.
The paper is WAY more expensive that the wausau cardstock from walmart...but I got it at Michael's craft store and was able to use my 40% off coupon...it was about $10.00 but it only has 20 sheets.

Anyways, my kids are off school this week for Spring break so we have tons of excursions planned; including shopping, a movie and the Zoo (hopefully the weather will improve!)....but I am hoping to get lots of stampin' in.....I got one of Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates...so I plan to try it out this week!

Have a great Monday!

Spring & High Hopes Challenge #23

Well, here in Calgary,Canada it really doesn't feel much like Spring. The 2 feet of snow we got on Sunday really makes it feel like January....you get the picture!

Anyways, I made this card for The High Hopes challenge #23-"use buttons!"
Not a problem for me....I add buttons to almost every card I make. ;O)
Kelly sent me a few of her new High Hopes images and I gotta tell you...I LOVE this bunny!
My first instinct was to color him in white...like most easter bunnies... but I started shading and went a bit over board and so he became a brown bunny! :O) I still love him.

The paper is from my Nana's Nursery stack from Michael's.
Flowers are prima
Buttons are My Mind's Eye
Ric Rac ribbon is CTMH

Yummy-Friday Sketcher's #44 & Spoon Full Of Sugar

I just love this week's friday sketcher's #44, it's such a great sketch!

I also made this card for this week's Spoon Full Of Sugar #43-use gems....no problem! I use gems all the time!
I made this yummy card with one of my brand new High Hopes stamps...yes they finally arrived on friday! I waited a long time for them...but they were SO worth the wait. Now if my LSS could just stock another sheet of ez mount I'd actually get to ink them all up!

I used a few sheets of Nana's Nursery paper by DCWV. They finally went on sale at Michael's. I just love this stack....I know it's been around since last summer but I still love all the papers, they are just so ME....plaids/flowers/dots and stripes!
The stamp I used is of course High Hopes. I colored her in with my copics and added some stickles to her bows. I made the yummy sentiment with my cricut.
The flowers are prima with little punched out smaller flowers and CTMH gems.

That's it!
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Anything For You-Dottie's World Sunday Challenge

Hello and Good Morning!
I just discovered these brand new cool digi images from Dottie's World. Tara is the new Designer for their challenge blog...aren't these super cute digi-images? My daughter Emily just loves them....I'll post her card later when she finishes it. :O)
I made this card for my sister who tends to gravitate to the asian theme when home decorating. I instantly thought of her when I saw this image of Holly in Asia.
I also made this card for the Dottie's World Sunday Challenge....use fabric.
The ribbon is fabric....and the smaller flowers are made out of felt.
I also have to tell you this:
I was kinda  scrambling around my scrapbook room this morning trying to find another wine colored flower to put on my card...but was unable to find one or any other color that was suitable. So I took out my awesome copic air brush system and airbrushed a white one with R39...one of the colors I used to color in Holly's outfit....doesn't it match perfectly? I LOVE my airbrush system! It is just so awesome!

Here are the rest of the details:
Paper is CTMH-Emporium
Flowers are an assortment.
Ribbon/brads and name plate are CTMH
The sentiment is also CTMH from the Priceless Word Puzzle set.
Image is from Dotties World and is colored in with my copics. :O)

The flowers and tab are cut outs form the paper packet.
I used this week's Saturday Sketch #41

The image is Tilda from Magnolia Rubber stamps. I colored her in with my copics and used a bit of stickles on her hair bow and heart.
The sentiment stamp is Close To My Heart-Say It In Style...stamped in CTMH-Ocean
I also used some brads from my LSS.
The ribbon is CTMH
Oh and I also sponged a bit of desert sand CTMH ink all around the edges of the paper to distress it a bit.

Thanks for looking!
