Laughs

Sorry about the late post today...I had to volunteer for Emily's swim class today, so my scrappin' time was limited. Hopefully this weekend I can spend some quality time in my scraproom, and get some cards done.

Here are the details for todays card:
Paper, buttons, ribbon and flowers are all Making Memories-Chloe's Closet. I just love this collection-it's almost all gone and I'm going to miss it.
Tilda is of course a Magnolia and I got her from Kelly. :O) I colored her in with my copics. I also cut her out and pop dotted her. I made the circles with my nesties and pop dotted them too.
The 'laughs' transfer is CTMH
It's hard to see but i also used my SU! scallop border punch on the bottom.
Thanks for looking and have a great TGIF!

Think Pink

We had a very busy weekend this weekend. My husband had to work Saturday and Sunday. He was working on the plant that we own where we are going to make our dog treats. He had a business partner in from out of town who ended up sleeping over Saturday night. Which is stressful for me because I suffer from occassional-CHAOS- "can't have anyone over syndrome"...in other words...most of the time my house is too messy to have people over! lol
So I was busy cleaning up and managing the kids most of Saturday...plus I was responsible for making sure the kids received a healthy dose of fun as well. No problem!
Plus I had to take all the kids to swim lessons on Saturday and then all the kids to mass on Sunday...needless to say...I'm worn out!
I finally got about an hour to myself this afternoon so I could rewatch a past LOST episode while happily stamping away. :O)

So I made this card especially for my mom, so she knows I'm thinking about her.
Here are the details:
Paper is Karen Foster Design-Birds&Blooms
Coordinating Cardstock and Wide Satin Ribbon is retired SU! Pomegranate
Image is Magnolia. I colored Tilda in with my copic markers
The Love charm is Close To My Heart
The pewter flowers are from my LSS
Brads are Close To My Heart
I also used my SU! scallop punch, Martha Stewart Border Punch and
Martha Stewart Leaf Branch Punch
Oh and I also used my nesties to make the rectangles.

Thanks for looking and have a great rest of the weekend. :O)

The image of course is High Hopes. I colored it in with my copic markers. I used some doodlebug sugar coating on the dragons wings. The sentiment is Close To My Heart.
The rhinestone flower brads are Making Memories.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Believe

Hello. :O)
It's Monday already...another week starting. Here in Calgary,Alberta it's Family Day-a holiday reserved for family rest and relaxation.
I had to work today-doing book work for our small business we own. But I was able to sneak into my craft room and quickly put together a card for today. And then I'm out the door with the kids to enjoy the rest of the day-what's left of it!

Here are the details for today's card:
Stamp is Magnolia-Edwin. I colored him in with my copics. Have I told you how much I love my copics? After I colored in with my copics I went back over Edwon's shirt with my blender pen to give his shirt some texture.
Paper is CTMH-StarDust
Twill Ribbon/Flexi-tag/buttons/brads and hemp are all CTMH.
The flex-tag is really cool. It's new this season. It's made out of a rubbery plastic and is flexible. It also has a sticky backing to it for easy adhering.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Hello & KKBC6

Ok so here is my last entry for Kimmie's Week Long Birthday Challenge. I'm so happy that I was able to complete all six of them. :O)
For the sixth challenge, Kim wanted us to use a boy or girl stamp and some flowers....HELLO...no problem! Girl stamps and flowers are my bread and butter! lol

I also just have to tell you about the little metal frame on my card.
Matty my youngest was getting into trouble yesterday....like most days. He got into my china cabinet where I stowed my left over Christmas Crackers...I had about four left over from Christmas 2008. Anyways, he broke open all of them and and was playing with the little cheap gifts, while wearing several of the paper hats! lol
I was kinda upset until I noticed the little metal frame and thought,
"yeah! I can use that on my card...it's perfect!"
So I added some dimensional foam to the back and attached it to my card...voila-done!

Here are the complete details for today's card:
Paper is Basic Grey-Bittersweet & Urban Prairie
Brads are CTMH
Flowers are Prima
Sentiment is CTMH-For Every Occasion
The image is a Magnolia that I got from Kelly. :O) Thanks Kelly.
I colored Tilda in with my copics and added a bit of doodlebug sugar coating to her wings
I also used my Martha Steward border punch and nesties.
Thanks for looking!

So my hubby took the three middle kids skating this afternoon.  I'm here with Matty, playing just outside my scraproom with his fischer price people & cars...and my oldest, Molly is upstairs listening to music and most likely singing into a hair brush! :O)
I was going to try and get three cards done today and posted but it took me an hour to make this one card...and I had already colored the image in a few days ago!
Sometimes the creativity takes time to flow.

Happy Birthday Kimmie! KKK Challenge Day One

So this whole week Kimmie is celebrating her birthday, and she knows how to celebrate...by having challenges and giving away bog candy! :O)
So of course I'm a day behind....the challenges started yesterday but I'm still jumping aboard!
Monday's challenge: Day One-was to use the color purple on a Birthday card. hmhmhmhmh not very easy when you don't have any purple...oh wait I do have some it's just hidden because I never use it. :O)
I know this sounds terrible but purple is probably my least favorite color. I guess you can call me a pink girlie girl.

I made today's card for the High Hopes Challenge (HHC16).....this week was Ila's challenge and she wanted us to use lace. Patterned paper is Basic Grey-Urban Prairie
I also used some CTMH-Black cardstock
The ribbon is CTMH

The "Tea Time" sentiment is MFT
And I made the little tag with my cricut.

Thanks for looking and have a great Monday. :O)
