Another Post this week!;o)

Wow I can't believe I was able to make another card this week! Where did I find the time? :o)
Anywho...I did and here are the details for todays card:
Paper is DCWV-Citrus Stack
Filigree and crystal brads are SU!
Flowers are from my LSS
The metal flowers are from my bloggin' buddy Kelly
The sentiment is from Close To My Heart
The image is Magnolia and is from my copic buddy Michelle.

I must tell you that the orange on the umbrella is driving me crazy! lol My friend Michelle had stamped this image for me on her favorite CS which is different from the one I normally use. I love it-it works really nicely with copics but the colors turn out a bit different on this paper. Of course I colored in the umbrella last and when I realized it wasn't really a close match to the paper I was crushed...lol but it was the only copy I had of this adorable image, so I decided to just follow through and fisnish it anyways...... :o)

The other thing that was driving me crazy was my watermark....geesh I worked on it for at least 10 minutes and couldn't get it to work....so it's really tiny and red! lol

I also wanted to tell you....I was working on this card while my daughter (she's 5) was sitting beside me working on her card.
She said to me "why did you leave those spots white?" (pointing to Tilda's boots/umbrella and jacket) and I said "because that's where the sun shines on her jacket and her umbrella and shoes" and she replied: "mommy the sun doesn't shine in the rain" .....:o)

Oh well Thanks for looking and have a super day!

Gorgeous card, the orange is perfect.

Laughed at your daughters comment, kids are so clever. Can't wait for my little boys to start talking and come out with stuff like that!

I love this Tilda! still don't own her but I do think she is a fave!!! and your coloring is wonderful! I was reading what you wrote about the color not being what you wanted...have you tried removing the color w/the blender pen? I do that and then re-color w/other colors or push colors around w/lighter markers...and all kinds of things...love the copics! hehe
