Truly Scrumptious Challenge #6

I've been waiting for this challenge for several weeks now....this challenge is being sponsored by the Cutting Cafe...and we got these cool cupcake digi-images to play with for this challenge...aren't they scrumptious??
Below is the sketch for TS challenge #6.  The second part of the challenge is that your card must be scrumptious enough to eat!

Here are the complete details for todays card:
I printed the images off on my ink jet computer onto wausau cardstock from Walmart and then colored in with my copics. I never have trouble with bleeding-digi-images are just so fun and easy to use. I have a canon pixma ink jet printer.

The paper is DCWV-Nana's Nursery and I also used some CTMH Creme Breule and Sweet Leaf
The flourish is from my LSS and the single sparkles are CTMH
The brads are from my LSS
Ribbon is CTMH
I also used my curvy rectangle and circle nesties
Oh and I almost forgot-I also used my SU! scallop border punch

Thanks for looking and make sure you head on over to the TS blog to take our scrumptious challenge!

Celebrate Mom-Sketch Saturday #48

I made this card for this weeks Sketch Saturday #48.
Here is the sketch:

Everything is CTMH except for the image which is Magnolia.
I colored in Tilda with my copics, and used the new magna paper from canson-which is so much better for blending!
The paper is brand new from CTMH called Bella. The butterfly stamp is also CTMH-I stamped it in creme bruele and then cut it out, added some stickles and pop dotted it.
I also pop dotted Tilda and the 3D element flower that has the word mom stamped on it.
I used my nesties and my SU! scallop border punch.

And I have to tell you....I curled the butterfly's wings to add dimensional, which caused a shadow when I photographed it...I know it kinda looks like smudged ink or something-but it's not. :o)

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Happy Everything-Just Magnolia #1 Challenge

Two posts in one day....crAZy! We are having a lazy day here at home...my two youngest are just outside my craft door playing with our HUGE collection of fisher-price people. They are so cute, building a huge village. :o)

Anyways, I was going to keep this card and post it tomorrow but I wanted to get it in for the very first JUST MAGNOLIA challenge blog...wow did you check out the prize up for grabs?? It's huge!
Here is the sketch for this week's challenge...that ends tonight.

Just Magnolia Sketch 1

My bloggin' sista Kelly sent me several of the new Spring Magnolia images....I didn't get the kit this time around....yes I AM kicking myself!
But I'm saving up so I can order a few of the images..especially the running Tilda!!!
I received Kelly's package in the mail the other day and was so excited to start coloring!
I colored Tilda in with copics...of course.
The paper is Pine Cone Press papers
The sentiment stamp is from my LSS...I believe it is Daisy Bucket
The buttons are SU!
The flowers are Prima
Sparkles and brads are CTMH
The ribbon is from Michael's Craft Store

I also wanted to share with you how I made my rhinestone flourish.
I picked up the In Stitch'z by Bazzill flourishes template. It is intended for use with embroidery floss...
But I used a pencil instead of a piercing tool to make the marks. Then after I made all the marks I went back and stuck my rhinestones on top of the marks...voila! I have a rhinestone flourish.
The flourish template kit comes with four sheets of different flourishes. And they stay together with a ring.

Here is a close up of one of the templates...easy peasy and so very pretty. ;o)

OKay so thats it for today.
Have a great Thursday!

Thanks A Bunch!

Hello and Happy Thursday!
Another weekend is upon us and I'm looking forward to this weekend. I have my regionals for Close To My Heart this weekend...so I get to learn lots of new stuff, meet up with lots of CTMH "sisters", get free stuff and crop crop crop!

I made this card using an image I got from Kelly...Kelly you are the best! I love these characters, they remind me of my oldest daughter...they are from The Greeting Farm-and they are Anya's.
I colored her in with my copics..of course!
The dimensional elements are CTMH and so are the buttons. The rhinestone swirl is from my LSS. The sparkles are from CTMH. I really wanted to add another rhinestone swirl to the left side of the card...but of course  when I went back to my LSS to get another one...they were out of stock! So I just left the right one on cause I am just lovin' rhinestone swirls right now!
The paper is from imaginisce-The Fairest of Them All"
I made the tag using my Creative Memories tag punch and the sentiment is a SU! rub on transfer, that I got from my friend Shelly.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Chest of Drawers

OKay so loooong time no post!
My three older kids were home from school last week for spring break so things were really busy around here...too busy to stamp....but it was all good-I love when my kids are home from school because we can sleep in and stay up a little later and do what ever we want!

I did get a chance to make this super cute "dresser" though. It took me several days to complete it because I could only do a little bit here and there.
I made it for odd and end embellishments. It fits perfectly on my scrap desk...and I must tell you I LOve it!

If you haven't been over to Lauren's blog you HAVE to go check it out! She is so clever, amusing and talented!
I used her idea to stack the matchboxes on top of each other to make a "dresser".
Her templates are so easy to use and so cheap-you down load one for $5 and then use it over and over and over again. The one thing that I do need to invest in to make more boxes and such is the scor-pal. It's really hard to make those perfect score lines without it.

I used 8 sheets of 8.5x11 sheets of cardstock to make the boxes and sleeves. I decided to use white cs just in case it didn't  turn out......I hate to waste colored CS! ;O)
Then I just attached patterned paper to make it pretty.

Thanks for looking and have a great MONday!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #5

The Truly Scrumptious #5 Challenge is sponsored my Whimsy Stamps and Hosted by the very talented Michele. Michele is also a design team member for Whimsy Stamps.
Michele created this "lots of layers" fabby sketch and she also wants us to make the card for a child. Here is her awesome sketch:

I used a Magnolia stamp for this card-Edwin wearing a tie..isn't he just so adorable?
I colored him in with my copics of course.
The paper/cardstock/brads/"make a wish" flexi-label/ and ribbon are Close To My Heart
I also stamped the sentiment with Close To My Hearts stamps, in CTMH ink-moon struck and topiary.

I almost forgot to tell you:
I also used my niftie nesties to make the rectangles where Edwin is sitting...and on the blue rectangle you can see some embossing. Well, I used my nestie circles to make those...I LOVE how it turned out! I'm going to see if I can get a you tube video tutorial done this week to show you how to do it. It's so easy and the results are fantastic!

Thanks for looking and make sure you head over to The Truly Scrumptious Challenge blog. :O)
BTW, I did change the title of my blog...I didn't realize I could....so I figured change is good.
So now I'm "Little Miss Raspberry Stamper" ....anyone who knows me knows I LOVE anything and everything Raspberry...so thats where the name came from.

Friends-Sketch Saturday #46

I made this card for Sketch Saturday #46.

It's an awesome sketch but I did have problems with the four little squares on the top right hand corner....;o)
Everything is Close To MY Heart except for the image-it's Whipper Snapper.
I colored in the image with my copics and I used some new paper; which Kim from Kimmie's Kraftin' Korner recommended.

The new paper is from Canson and it's Manga Drawing Paper. I did find that it bleed a tad bit...but that may have been because I didn't let my memento ink dry long enough before I started coloring....I WA REALLY excited! What can I say???
But besides that.....it really does work awesome for blending! Kim was right....you don't get those harsh lines that you do with other cardstock...the colors just literally blend together....and because the paper is a whoppin' 150 lbs.......the ink takes longer to dry; so you have more time to mess with shading.
The paper is WAY more expensive that the wausau cardstock from walmart...but I got it at Michael's craft store and was able to use my 40% off coupon...it was about $10.00 but it only has 20 sheets.

Anyways, my kids are off school this week for Spring break so we have tons of excursions planned; including shopping, a movie and the Zoo (hopefully the weather will improve!)....but I am hoping to get lots of stampin' in.....I got one of Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates...so I plan to try it out this week!

Have a great Monday!

The ricrac & brads are CTMH
The rhinestone swirls are from my LSS
The peachy flower is prima and the white flower is bazzil, and the button is My Mind's Eye
The paper is from my DCWV Nana's Nursery and I also used some CTMH hollyhock and sweet leaf cardstock.

Motherhood-Friday Sketcher's #46

I made today's card for Friday Sketcher's #46.
Below is the fabby sketch, I rotated it.

I used some paper from my Nana's Nursery stack...LOVE that paper, and I also used some CTMH Sweet Leaf cradstock.
The  buttons are Making Memories
The ribbon and brads are CTMH
The image is High Hopes and so is the sentiment
I used my copics to color in the image

Thanks for looking!

I also wanted to show you two fabby cards I received in the mail last week....the one on the left is from my long time stampin' buddy Shelly; who is also a SU! consultant; the one on the right is from my other long time stampin' buddy's mom-Jean. Aren't they just beautiful? They were both sent in support of my mom's surgery.  Thanks!
Oh I also wanted to add that my friend Shelly had filled the card with beautiful, inspiring and supportive bible verses. :o)

Thinking Of You

Hello and TGIF!
I made this busy little card for my sister in-law who lost her mom last week. Geesh, when it rains it really pours eh?

Anyways, I was at Michael's the other day and I found this fab paper by K&Company. It's called Wild Raspberry. I just love it! I was also able to use my 50% off coupon...yeah! EK success also has a new line of punches and I have to tell you they are so awesome! Plus they were on sale 40% off this week so I bought one. Then I was at the loonie store last night and I picked up these fabby flowers and buttons....all for $1.50 for a pack. Seriously, that was such a great deal!

I colored in Tilda with my copics of course, the sentiment & flourish stamps are from Close To My Heart; and the gem flourish and brads are from my LSS.

I started out using this week's friday sketcher but I ended up altering it so much that I don't think it qualifies anymore....I'll try friday sketcher again tomorrow..it an easy sketch but I think my crafty mojo went on a holiday....nothing is coming easy in the craft room the last few weeks!

Have a great TGIF!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #4

Geesh I know it's April Fool's day today...I'm so lame I can never think of anything creative to do on April Fool's day besides telling people I'm pregnant when I'm not! If you did something crazy today or have done something crazy in the past tell me about..I'd love to have a good April Fool's joke for next year! :O)

Well, it's that time again....another Truly Scrumptious Challenge! Challenge #4 is called Flower Power. You have to use the sketch created by Mina (scroll down) and you have to add flowers....easy peasy! And Guess who our sponsor for Challenge #4 is......Whiff Of Joy!  WOJ has the most adorable stamps! I just LOVE them.

Here are the complete details for my card today:

Paper is Imaginisce-"Fairest Of Them All"...I just love this paper! It's so cute and adorable!
I also used some CTMH Sweet Leaf cardstock
I colored Melinda in with my copics-I also sponged around the edge with some CTMH-Blush ink while the oval was still in the nestie, that way the recessed edge stayed white.
I also decided to try out the technique where you use your stylus to emboss with the nesties. I was having trouble getting my sizzix to make a nice emboss with the tan mats....anyways, I used my empressor and it worked awesome.
Here is a picture of the empressor if you aren't sure what it is. :O)
 Journaling Genie Empressor
The ribbon is SU!-certainly celery and I also used my SU! Ticket punch on the corners
I punched the flowers using my Marvy and EK Success punches
The brads and gems are Close To My Heart
I also added some stickles to Belinda's wings & hearts
The sentiment stamp is from Close To My Heart-"God Bless You"...stamped in CTMH Garden Green ink

Thanks for looking, make sure you head over to The Truly Scrumptious Blog to take our challenge.  Have a super Wednesday!
