Be MIne for Mojo Monday Sketch#71

I made this fab card using the MojoMonday Sketch # 71. I just love how it turned out. Mojo Sketches are just so fabulous....

Here are the complete details for today's card:
Paper is Basic Grey-Bittersweet
I also used some CTMH Vineyard Berry CS
The stamp is Magnolia-Sitting Tilda. I colored Tilda in with my copics.
The little hearts were made using my cricut, and then I used my glue pen to adhere the "chunky" sparkles I picked up at Michael's the other day. The "Be Mine" stamp is from the CTMH-All My Love set.
The super wide and totally fabulous ribbon is from a collection of blog candy I won several months ago...not sure of the brand.
I didn't even use any brads on here today...crazy!
Thanks for looking.

"Laugh"...Basic Grey & Friday Sketcher Challenge

So today I thought I'd try a Basic Grey Challenge. Basic Grey is a scrapbooking paper company. They make beautiful paper. I went to Michael's and used my 40% off coupon to get a stack. I just love it! This stack is called Urban Prairie.
I am really happy with the way this card turned out-I just love it! I rarely use black...but decided to challenge myself today to try it. I'm not sure why but the picture really doesn't do this card justice....I think I NEED a light box so I can start taking better pics of my cards....

Anyways, here are the details for my card today:
The image is Tilda from Magnolia; and I colored her in with my copic markers.
I used my nesties to make the ovals, and my sizzix sizzlit to make the flourishes.
The ribbon sparkles and brads and CTMH.
The flowers are from my LSS.
I made the tag with my cricut.

I used this week's Friday Sketchers #36:

I had to kinda tweek it a bit to do the Basic Grey challenge # 19 too.

Which was a recipe:
2 patterned paper
3 brads
1 button
1 ribbon & bow

Thanks for looking!

Edwin. :O)...-HH Challenge #14

I colored Edwin in while I was at Emily's swim lessons last night.  It made the hour go by so fast. I was able to get a seat right in the front row so I could watch her and color at the same time-it was perfect.
I colored Edwin in with my copic markers...I just LOVE my copics-they are so easy to use.
I outlined Edwin with my warm grey copic to make him"pop".  And I also added stickles to Edwin's wings...he's such an angel. :O)

I made this card quickly this morning...I'm taking my oldest daughter out for lunch this afternoon so my time in the scraproom is limited today. Which is a good thing, I miss Molly and enjoy spending time with her-she's quite introspective for a thirteen year old. :O)

Anyways, here are the details for today's card:
Paper is from my quickly vanishing stash-Chatter Box: Happy Garden. I love this paper and am sad it's almost gone. But no need to shed tears-Molly and I went to the scrap store after lunch-I bought her some new paper...and slipped a new Making Memories stack in the basket for myself.:O)

Owl Greetings

I just love High Hopes...they make the cutest stamps. :O)
Here is Mr.Owl sitting on a branch. I got this image from Kelly-thank you again.
I'm semi- happy with the end result of this card....It kinda seems to me like the owl is floating in  mid-air....I may try to draw in some leaves next time to make it look like the branch is attached to a tree...but for now I am posting as is. :O)
The paper is from the newest line by Imaginisce-Twitterpated. It is such a cute line...I just love it!
I used CTMH cranberry and chocolate CS for matting and copics to color in the image. I went back after the copics dried and added some more shading with watercolor pencils. I love my copics but I miss the depth I was able to achieve with watercolors.  I was on the blog: "I Like Markers" and she was saying that you can watercolor over top of copics....so I tried it and it worked so I might start doing a bit more of that now.
I also used my nesties-oval and rectangle.
The flowers are from my LSS.
Ribbon and brads are CTMH.

Wishing You Well-Saturday's Sketch Challenge #33

I received some stamped images from Kelly the other day...what a delight! This Tilda was one of them. I just love this Tilda...she's so sweet and precious.
The paper I used for this card  was from a Making Memories scrapbook kit that I won at a local crop camp. I've had it tucked away for almost a year...in fact I had forgotten all about it...until this morning.
The sketch I used for this card is Saturday's sketch-Challenge #33.  I just love sketch challenges.
Everything is from the Making Memories kit except for the brads-CTMH and the flower which is Prima.
The sentiment stamp is CTMH-Say It In Style
I colored in Tilda with my copics.

Look What I Got!

I actually received this a while ago but I was out of my scrap room for almost all of December so when it arrived I had to tuck it away...:O{
Anyways, it's from Yvette. Yvette is so super talented and she is so generous!
Anyways, I sent her some Magnolia images and she sent me some Sarah Kay images.
Not only did she send me the images but also this super cute tag and mini tag.
I just had to show it to you.
Thanks again Yvette!

more organizing

I also have another CTMH My Acrylix container for my unmounted stamps. I keep them in cd jewel cases. This works awesome for me. I really don't have very many unmounted rubber stamps so I don't label the cases but I will do that one day.

This is how I keep all of my eyelets and brads..the picture isn't very good but It's a magnetic board from ikea and all my eyelets/brads/spiral clips etc. are in little CTMH plastic containers with magnets glued to the back. They are really easy to find and use this way.

Below my magnetic board are several little jars that hold my buttons and flowers

This is how I keep my ribbon that is not on spools. I bought the medium sized fiber cards from cropper hopper and the shelf is from Michael's craft store. It works really well.
Below in baskets are super small CTMH ribbon spools that I'm not sure how to organize yet and in the little canister I keep my waxy flax.

Peace On Earth card & Organizing. :O)

Before I get to my organizing stuff here is my card for today.
I really want to get into scenery stamping.....now I just need a few more stamps for that. :O)
But for now I'm going through my stash and working with what I have. (did I tell you my new years resolution is too stick to a budget for scrap supplies?)
Anyways, here are the details:
I stamped tilda and colored her in with my copics and then cut her out. I pop dotted her onto  the background that I made by daubing light blue chalk onto white card stock and then I stamped green trees ( a retired CTMH set) and added some prisma gitter for snow.
I stamped the CTMH sentiment "Peace On Earth" onto a K&Company label and a CTMH clock onto the round K&Company label. The ribbon is from some blog candy I won a wile back.
Brads are CTMH
Paper is CTMH-Life Delights
Colors are-CTMH chocolate and sweet leaf

Okay so I decided to do some organizing and purging yesterday in my scraproom, thanks to Tara who inspired me to do so. :O)
So I cleared off my table and started reorganizing everything...now I can see my desk! Yippee!
I finished half my room yesterday-today I should be able to finish the rest.
I'll post again later today and show you how I organize all my ribbon and embellishments, paper and inks. I also have a work station for my sizzix and cricut.
My craft room is fairly small....especially compared to some posted on the 2peas in a bucket website!  I try to go through my stash every once in while and give it to my kids or my kid's friends, I also gave a bunch of paper to my sister one summer. I'm going to try and get some stuff donated to our local hospital too sometime this year...and to make room for some new 2009 stuff I want to sell some stuff on ebay also.

Here is how I store my Spellbinders-Nestibilities:

I use CTMH My Acrylix containers.

Each nesties set is kept in a cd jewel case, they fit perfectly in my container. My container isn't full but you could fit about 30 of the slim jewel cases in each container. I just love it!

I attach a strip of magnet (one side has double sided tape already on it-I get that from the dollar store) to each side, on the inside of the jewel case. Then my nestie pieces stay in place. It works awesome!

I may have gotten this idea from someone one day when I was blogging I honestly can't remember. :O)

Tune in later for more organizing stuff. :O)

Friends

Wow it is darn chilly out today....I think it's a good day to stay indoors and work on re-organizing my scraproom-it is MESSY!
Before I start that, I need to post a card I made this morning.
I really love this tilda stamp-she's so cute with her little cherries on her dress. Her dress reminds me of a dress I had when I was a little girl...you remember pinafore dresses? Oh so 1970's. :O)
Anyways, here are the details:
Paper is CTMH: Notebook. A paper set I didn't like in the idea book but fell in love with when it arrived. Colors: CTMH-bamboo/hollyhock/desert sand/crystal blue
Eyelet paper ribbon is K&Company
Brads and "friends" Transfer are CTMH
Flower and buttons are from my LSS.
I colored in Tilda with my copics and distressed a bit with desert sand and chocolate using my dauber.
